Our story
A family business built on reliability
Francis and Ollie Kohlman started Libra Transport with one truck — a 1976 Kenworth — one driver, and one dispatcher. Now in our 50th year, that same determination still drives everything we do.
1976 — Founded by Francis & Ollie Kohlman, with Canadian Salt as our very first customer.
40+ years — Serving the Port of Vancouver and BC's Lower Mainland without interruption.
Today — An interprovincial contract carrier whose operators have logged one million+ accident-free miles.

Based in St. Albert, we run regular lanes throughout BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba — including the northern routes most carriers won't touch, like Fort Nelson, Prince Rupert, Fort McMurray, and Grande Prairie. We also haul Canada-wide on request, and keep a secure trailer compound in the Edmonton area.
